Introduction to Mount Cook: Mount Cook, with an altitude of 3755 meters, is the highest mountain in New Zealand. It is known as the "Alps of the Southern Hemisphere" and is a highland that many climbers yearn for. It is located in the center of the World Heritage Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. There is a lot of snow at the top. The foothills are an excellent natural playground, with beautiful alpine plant gardens and skiing and other activities.
