Introduction to Rouyuan Gate: Rouyuan Gate is the north gate of Mizhi Ancient City and is the only remaining city gate. The city gate is built with carved stones with straight stripes, and the interior is built with loess. It has a total width of 14 meters, a total depth of 8.6 meters, a height of 7.5 meters, and a door opening of 3.5 meters wide. It covers an area of 120 square meters. The north and south are arch passages, which are connected by three arches and three arches with different heights. The word "Rou Yuan" is engraved on the stone plaque on the forehead of the north arch. The original two-story mountain pavilion on the top of the city gate was destroyed in the 1940s. Later, a hard-mounted tower was built, which collapsed in 2001.
