Waterbird introduction: The reserve is located on the East Asia-Australia waterbird migration route and is an important wintering ground and relay station for waterbirds. There are 205 species of birds including Oriental white storks, black storks, bald cranes, and white cranes, and more than 80 species of water birds, many of which are on the verge of extinction.
