Cao Xueqin introduced: On the curved background wall at the exit, the picture of Cao Xueqin and the Twelve Hairpins of Jinling clearly appeared. The painting has a red background and pastels depicting Cao Xueqin sitting on a large rock. The line drawing technique outlines the twelve Jinling hairpins in different postures. The combination of virtual and real is very eye-catching. Cao Xueqin, whose given name was Zhan, whose courtesy name was Mengruan, and whose nickname was Xueqin, was born in Jinling in about the fifty-fourth year of Kangxi (AD 1715). He died in Beijing in the twenty-ninth year of Qianlong (AD 1764). Cao Xueqin spent her youthful years in Jiangning Zhizao Mansion. After his family was forced to move to Yanjing, he remained homeless and depressed until his early death in Huangye Village, Xishan. The turbulent fate of his family and individuals, as well as the bitterness of his family and state of mind, inspired Cao Xueqin to "read it for ten years, adding and deleting it five times" and worked hard to write "A Dream of Red Mansions".
