Introduction to satin: In the Qing Dynasty, there were "three weavings in Jiangnan": Jiangning weaving, Suzhou weaving, and Hangzhou weaving, all of which were restored in the early years of Shunzhi based on the old weaving bureau of the Ming Dynasty. Among them, Jiangning Weaving was established the earliest (in the second year of Shunzhi) and was the largest, and its products were satin pieces for use; the other two bureaus were established two years later, and their products were satin pieces for rewards. In the exhibition hall, there are not only actual objects and pictures of silk fabrics woven in Jiangning, but also silk fabrics woven in Suzhou and Hangzhou.
