Introduction to the main hall: The main hall of the former residence is the place where families hold ceremonial celebrations and receive guests. The large Chinese painting "Chen Yi Visits Han Zishi" painted by Zhang Huai, the former vice president of the Nantong Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, hangs on the screen door of the main hall. The hall is furnished with Ming and Qing furniture that is simple in shape, elegant in antique style, and rich in fine carvings.
