Introduction to rejuvenating the country through education: After the Sino-Japanese War of 1891-1894, Zhang Jian felt that industry needed talents, and talents needed education. Beginning in 1895, Zhang Jian began to establish various schools. In the first half of 1903, Tongzhou Private Normal School was opened to enroll students, and Zhang Jian served as the principal.
