Introduction to Tao Gong Temple: Tao Gong Temple is located near Huangtan Village, Daruoyan Town, Shuijia. According to legend, it was the secluded residence of Tao Hongjing, a Taoist thinker and medical expert in the Qi and Liang Dynasties in the Southern Dynasties. The entrance of the cave is flat and open. The inside of the cave is 56 meters high, 76 meters wide and 79 meters deep. It can accommodate a thousand people. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, making it pleasant in all seasons. Tao Gong Temple was built here since the Tang Dynasty, and successively in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Many palaces, pavilions and temples were built, and it is known as the "Twelfth Blessed Place in the World". The original Wenchang Pavilion was burned down by fire in 1957, leaving only an empty platform, hall and nunnery. Next to the cave is Hu Gong Hall, in which Hu Gongzheng, a famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, is enshrined.
