Introduction to Su Buqing's former residence: Su Buqing's former residence is located beside the Daxi River in Tengdai Village, Tengjiao Town, Pingyang County. The old residence was built in the late Qing Dynasty and has a width of 5 bays. In the 1940s, Su Buqing's brother Bugao built two more rooms at the east end. There is a pavilion in the middle, facing northeast and southwest, covering an area of 3500 square meters. There are ancient vines on the west side, a strange banyan tree hugging loquats in front of the house, a well in the backyard, the water is as clear as a mirror, warm in winter and cool in summer, surrounded by walls, the doorway is to the west, and the front yard is vast. The backyard is deep and quiet, and is a typical residential and farmhouse in a village in southern Zhejiang.
Su Buqing (1902.9.23-2003.3.17), formerly known as Su Shanglong, was a native of Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province and a famous mathematician.
