Super Dome Stadium Introduction: The Super Dome Stadium was built in 1975 and is the largest indoor stadium in the world. It is most famous for hosting American football games and is also the home stadium of the New Orleans Professional Football Saints. The gymnasium has a towering, outwardly curved, thick, windowless arc-shaped wall. The upper end of the wall is crowned with the largest dome ever built in the world, with a diameter of 210 meters. The stadium covers a total area of 210,000 square meters and can accommodate 76,791 people to watch sports matches at a time. Six extra-large TV screens under the dome can simultaneously broadcast live matches. Many university matches are also held here.
