Site introduction: Tongxin Mosque is not only a place for Muslim religious activities, but also a cultural relic building with a glorious revolutionary history. In 1936, when the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army went on its western expedition, local people were mobilized to hold a congress of representatives from all walks of life here, and established the first county-level Muslim autonomous government in Chinese history - the Yuhai Muslim Autonomous Government of Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia Province.
