Introduction to the main entrance: The entire opera house covers an area of 38,500 square meters, including a main theater with about 1,400 seats and two small theaters with 400 and 200 seats respectively. It has been built since 1300 by the Nidaros Domen Cathedral. Cathedral is the largest cultural building in Norway since its completion.
