Introduction to pirate ships: Viking ships are an important part of Viking culture. It can be said that everything about them is closely related to ships. Viking ships were mainly made of materials from tall and straight oak trees, and were divided into two categories: warships and cargo ships. Warships are lighter, narrower, more flexible, lighter, and more resistant to wind and waves; cargo ships are taller, wider, and heavier, and can remain stable when sailing with heavy loads in rough seas. Both types of ships had what was commonly called a curved bow, intricately carved from a single solid piece of oak.
