Introduction to Napoleon's Tomb: On the south bank of the sparkling Seine River in Paris, there is an ancient building with a tall dome. This is the Invalides that tourists must visit. The coffin of Napoleon, the famous emperor in French history, is buried here. Napoleon's tomb is divided into two floors. The upper ring is divided into six round pavilions, which house the ashes of Napoleon's two brothers (the eldest brother Joseph and the younger brother Jerome), his son the young King of Rome, and his four marshals. The lower level is a circular tomb built of marble, 8 meters deep, with Napoleon's coffin placed in the center. There are 12 relief statues of the goddess of victory carved on the surrounding walls, each representing a glorious battle. The statue of Napoleon wears his coronation regalia. Napoleon's coffin is a large red-purple porphyry coffin with a blue-gray marble base. There are six layers of coffins in the sarcophagus. From the inside to the outside, they are tin coffin, mahogany coffin, two-layer lead coffin, ebony coffin and oak coffin. Napoleon's remains are placed in the innermost part. Napoleon's will is engraved on the marble surrounding the coffin.
