Introduction to Port of Heroism: Port of Heroismo (Angrado Heroismo) is located on the south coast of Terceira Island. It is the capital of the island and a world cultural heritage. The town was founded in the second half of the 15th century and brings together a large number of 16th-century Baroque churches and monasteries. The two-story houses with painted wooden balconies are typical Portuguese architectural heritage.
