Introduction to Golden Lane: Golden Lane (Czech: Zlata Ulicka, English: Golden Lane) is located between St. George's Church and the Toy Museum. It is one of the most famous attractions in Prague Castle. Golden Lane was originally a place where servants and craftsmen lived. Later, it was renamed because of the gathering of many warlocks who worked for the king. After the 19th century, the alley gradually turned into a slum. After re-planning in the mid-20th century, most of the houses in the lane were converted into shops, selling wooden toys, tin Prague soldiers, hand-painted clothes and other types of souvenirs and handicrafts.
Opening hours: April to October 9:00-17:00 November to March 9:00-16:00.
