Introduction to the sea area: The east side of Bodhi Island is the largest sea area in the Bohai Bay. Standing on the embankment of the island, watching the low tide, the tide recedes slowly and is extremely gentle. After the tide recedes, large swaths of tidal flats are revealed. In the northern part of Ganhai District, near the pier, there are large areas of Spartina grass on the beach. The Spartina grass has been washed and soaked by sea water, and the color of the grass is extremely green. Ganhai District also has a wonderful name "Ghost Crab District". The wonder of "Beach Crab Dance" appears here. From May to October every year, groups of ghost crabs live here, ranging in size from the size of fingernails. They range in size from palm to palm. In summer and autumn, after the tide goes out, they are everywhere on the ground. Crab catching activities are a lot of fun. However, ghost crabs are said to be poisonous, so tourists should not easily include them in their diet.
