Introduction to the Friendship Tower: The Friendship Tower was built in October 1959. The tower is 30 meters high and made of 1025 pieces of granite and marble. It symbolizes the anniversary of the Volunteer Army going to Korea to participate in the war on October 25, and is to commemorate China It was built by the martyrs of the People’s Volunteer Army. On the front of the tower are embedded three large gold-plated Chinese characters of "Friendship Tower", each weighing 40 kilograms.
