Introduction to Qixi Dam: Qixi River is high and narrow and flows out of Pinghu Lake, all of which depends on the Qixi Hydropower Station barrage. The dam is 56 meters high, with a crest length of 156.4 meters. The reservoir has a water collection area of 182.5 square kilometers and a water surface area of 2.18 square kilometers. The normal water storage level is 290 meters above sea level, and the overflow section is 280 meters above sea level. The installed power generation capacity is 14,600 kilowatts, which is a monument in the history of hydropower construction in Kaihua County. During the flood season, when the gate is opened to release floods, it looks like four long dragons rushing out, swooping down from the top of the dam, forming a paraboloid and rising into the sky, turning into snow-white water splashing everywhere, with majestic momentum and loud sound.
