Introduction to the Garden Courtyard: The Garden Courtyard is the third courtyard of the compound. The Qiao family originally planned to build a courtyard tower here, but it was later abandoned due to the "July 7th Incident", leaving only the Garden Courtyard. The "Danfeng Pavilion" plaque inscribed by Fu Shan in the courtyard (now displayed in the east room of the fourth courtyard of the Qiao family) hangs on the door of the "Danfeng Pavilion" built by Dai Ting. The two used "Dan" to symbolize the Ming Dynasty, and used the autumn frost maple leaves to express integrity, thus expressing the pain of the dying Ming Dynasty.
