Introduction to the Burning Brocade Pavilion: The Burning Brocade Pavilion, also known as the Burning Furnace, is a place where paper money, gold, silver, silk and memorial texts are burned during peacetime sacrifices. It is a mountain-style building with a wood-less structure of blue bricks and tiles. The pavilion is located between the Qiyun Hall and the West Side Hall, just like a palace maid in blue going between the two halls. It embellishes the empty and quiet square city with vitality and makes it appear very vivid. It can be said to be unique and original.
