Introduction to the Heavenly King's Hall: The Heavenly King's Hall is the first hall of the temple. Maitreya Buddha is worshiped in the middle. On both sides are the four heavenly kings, namely, the Eastern King of the Kingdom, the Southern King of Growth, the Western King of Guangmu, and the Northern King of Duowen. Behind the Maitreya Buddha statue is the Skanda Bodhisattva made of Burmese white jade, holding a diamond pestle to subjugate demons, looking like a military general. Unlike other temples, Jinshan Temple integrates Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The Tianwang Hall also enshrines a statue of Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, which is rare in other temples.
