Introduction to the South Shaolin Stone Square: On the forehead of the main entrance of the Stone Square are engraved four golden characters "Shaolin Scenic Spots". The couplet engraved on the main entrance reads, "The history of old lanterns reappears in the east of the Pearl of the Canghai region, and the sword hanging on the green mountain competes to be passed on to the Southern Shaolin throughout the world." The couplet engraved on the side entrance reads, "It starts from the Songyue Mountains in the south and carries on the teachings. The style of spreading martial arts and assisting the sect in Shaoyun's mausoleum is passed down from the heart." The stone square is inlaid with exquisite reliefs, and stories such as Zhi Kong entering Fujian, thirteen stick monks saving the king of Tang Dynasty, thousands of monks resisting the Yuan Dynasty, Shaolin rebelling against the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty, burning the Shaolin Temple, and Shaolin style everywhere in Quannan are written on it.
