Introduction to Hongdao Gate: To the north of Bishuiqiao is Hongdao Gate, which was the gate of the Confucius Temple in the 10th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1377 AD). It was named in the seventh year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty according to "The Analects of Confucius" "Man can spread the Tao" to praise Confucius' elucidation. He learned the ways of Yao, Shun, Yu, Tang, and the Dukes of Zhou in civil and military affairs. There are two Yuan Dynasty tablets under the door. The east four-sided tablet is "Evolution of Qufu County through the ages", which records the changes and evolution of Qufu. It is of high historical value. The west tablet is "Mr. Chu Shi Wang Chu's Tomb Table", which is of great calligraphy value. It was dated 1966. Moved to Confucius Temple for safekeeping.
