Introduction to St. Jacob's Church: St. Jacob`s Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church, and its patron saint is St. Jacob. At the beginning of the 15th century, the Holy Cross Chapel was built at the southern end of the early Gothic church. In 1901, the ancient Baroque altarpiece (1680) was renewed.
