Introduction to the Mosque of Rome: The Moschea di Roma (Moschea di Roma) is one of the largest mosques in Western Europe, covering an area of 30,000 square meters and able to accommodate 12,000 people. The ribbon was cut on the mosque in 1995. The land was donated by the Rome city government, and construction funds were donated by the exiled Afghan prince Mohammed Hassan and Saudi King Faisal.
