Introduction to Yanyu Alley: Yanyu Alley is located inside the Riyuemen. The alley was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and is 33 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. Because the alley is narrow, if you stand in the alley when it rains, you can see the drizzle and smoke rising at the entrance of the cave, which is like the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River. Therefore, Zhao Daizhong, a member of the Qing Dynasty, quoted the word "Misty Rain" from Du Mu's "Jiangnan Spring", "Thousands of miles of orioles are singing, the green is reflected in red, and the wine flags are winding in the water villages and mountains. There are 480 temples in the Southern Dynasty, and there are many towers in the mist and rain." The word "Misty Rain" was used to name the alley. Still in use. In 2011, the alley was ranked among the "Top 10 Most Beautiful Alleys in Chongqing" in the "Most Beautiful Streets in Chongqing" selection.
