Introduction to the Museum of the Northern Mariana Islands: The CNMI Museum of History and Culture is located directly opposite Sugar King Park and was renovated from the original Japanese military hospital. The museum collects photos of the Japanese rule, local people's clothing and daily life, as well as precious archaeological artifacts such as porcelain and copper coins salvaged from shipwrecks in the 18th century.
