Festival Theater Introduction: The Salzburg Music Festival was founded by the Austrian poet Hugo von Hofmannsthals, and its history can be traced back to the Salzburg International Music Festival in 1877 , held every summer since 1920, in addition to the Easter Music Festival founded by the famous conductor Herbert von Karajan in 1967.
