Introduction to Mount Irazu: Mount Irazu is an intermittent volcano in central Costa Rica. It is located northeast of San Jose and has an altitude of 3,432 meters. It is the highest peak in the Central Mountains. It erupted in 1841, 1920, and 1963, and suddenly erupted again in 1978. After the eruption, two craters were formed, surrounded by a strange scenery.
