Introduction to Yingxintan: Yingxintan is also called "Wengtan" by the locals because the pool is shaped like an urn. The rocks on the wall of the pool are red and the surface of the pool is heart-shaped, hence the name "Yingxin Pool". Legend has it that in ancient times, a pair of steadfast young men and women, in order to resist feudal marriage, fled to the pond and vowed to share weal and woe and forever be united. The heaven and earth were moved, the pool turned into a heart shape, and the rock walls were reflected in red. Lovers eventually get married, and the reputation of "Yingxin Pond" spreads throughout the countryside. When young men and women fall in love, they come here to express their feelings and swear to the pool to achieve a happy marriage.
