Introduction to the main hall of Rucheng House: The couplets on the pillars on both sides of the screen door of the main hall: "The virtuous person in Guangwen Hall has the professional title of Dr. Chengjun. He was selected by Emperor You to be the number one scholar of loyalty and filial piety." The first couplet talks about Tong of the Tang Dynasty. Confucian Zheng Qian, the second couplet talks about Zheng Xie, the number one scholar in the Song Dynasty. They are all great people with the surname Zheng who are outstanding in both knowledge and character.
