Introduction to the Eighteen Pools: In the "V" shaped canyon, a stream of green water winds and connects eighteen green pools of different shapes and sizes, which are called "Eighteen Pools". The Eighteen Pools are scattered on the Niangniang Mountain granite body that dates back 120 to 80 million years. During the intermittent uplift of the mountain over the past 65 million years, it was formed by the repeated erosion of the source of the river. It is a witness to the movement of the earth's crust. Eighteen pools can be formed on the river bed "like a rock," allowing people to appreciate the power of nature and gain enlightenment from dripping water penetrating rocks.
