Introduction to seabirds: Bird Island is the northernmost island in the outer islands of Seychelles. During the southeast trade wind (that is, from May to September), millions of sooty terns lay their eggs on this island. There are also many kinds of birds on the island, such as small black terns, white terns, white-tailed tropical birds, etc. Bird Island is also a place rich in marine life. Green sea turtles, dolphins and even whales can sometimes be seen here.
