Introduction to Baiyun Mountain: The Baiyun Mountain Taoist Temple was first built in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. It was expanded starting from the 33rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1605 AD). After more than 400 years of continuous renovation, it has reached its current scale. There are more than 99 Taoist temples, large and small, and 54 temples and halls, with a total area of 121,000 square meters. There are more than 1,300 murals, 172 tablets, and more than 95 plaques in the temple. In addition, there are an imperial edict issued by Emperor Shenzong in the 46th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, 4,726 Taoist Tibetan volumes, stone lions, ancient bells, flagpoles, reliefs, stone carvings, etc. The cultural relic is a national key cultural relic protection unit announced by the State Council.
