Introduction to the Huashan Sect: The Huashan Sect is a branch of Quanzhen Taoism. Hao Datong, one of the Seven True Masters of the North, is respected as the founder of the Kai Sect. Hao Datong, courtesy name Taigu and nickname Guangningzi, was a disciple of Quanzhen sect’s ancestor Wang Chongyang.
