Introduction to the statue of Weng Zhong: Weng Zhong, also known as Shi Xiangsheng, is a stone sculpture in front of the tombs of emperors, royal families, and high-ranking officials in ancient China. They are often erected in front of Shinto roads and are used to exorcise evil spirits, mark the tomb, and commemorate the deceased's achievements during his or her lifetime. There are elephants, lions, geese, unicorns, camels, tigers, sheep, horses and other animals, as well as human-shaped stone statues. Stone carvings are an important symbol of the identity of the tomb owner. From the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the number and style of stone carvings were regulated by law.
