Introduction to the landscape of the ruins: Qin Zhidao, as the name suggests, is a straight road. It starts from Liangwu Emperor Village in Chunhua County, Shaanxi Province (the Linguang Palace of the Qin Dynasty, also known as Ganquan, which was the military command center of the Qin Dynasty) in the south, to Baotou City in Inner Mongolia (known as Jiuyuan in ancient times) in the north, passing through Ziwuling Nature Reserve, Mu Us Desert and Ordos Plateau. It runs through 14 counties in the three provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu and Mongolia, with a total length of more than 900 kilometers. In the 35th year of the First Emperor (212 BC), Qin Shihuang ordered his eldest son Fusu and general Meng Tian to lead 300,000 troops to guard the north while building Straight. It is a north-south "highway" built by Qin Shi Huang after he unified the six countries more than 2,000 years ago.
