Introduction to the Jade Emperor Temple: The old Jade Emperor Temple in Yanzhi Mountain was a Taoist temple built in the 20th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, it was repaired many times. By the early 1960s, the temple Yushangcun is one of Shandan's great attractions. The ancient temple was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution" and was rebuilt in 2000 AD. The new view covers an area of 1100 square meters. There are three couplets for the mountain gate, three couplets for the east-west symmetrical Zhai hall, three couplets for the passing hall, and five symmetrical east-west couplets for the side hall. Couplets, followed by three couplets in the main hall with double eaves. The temple is mainly made of wooden structure, with flying eaves and brackets, carved beams and painted pillars. It has ancient and modern charm and is magnificent.
