Introduction to Dazong Bofang: The Dazong Bofang built by Chen Jing, a native of Qingzhou, has a four-column and three-door style, with a total width of 12.2 meters and a total height of 10.1 meters. It was built during the Jiajing period at the entrance of Huoxiang in the ancient city of Qingzhou, in the northern section of today's Ouyuan Street. Chen Jing, whose courtesy name was Bo Chang and whose name was Dongzhu, was a Jinshi in the ninth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty. He was promoted to the Minister of Hubu, the Minister of Rites and the Minister of War, and he was also the crown prince and Taibao. When this square was established, Chen Jing served as the Minister of Rites, that is, "Dazong Bo", so there are three characters "Dazong Bo" in the forehead of the square. There are couplets on the pillars on this side, "Imperial Edict" on the forehead, and another inscription on the forehead.
