Introduction to the Yellow River Delta National Geopark: The Yellow River Delta National Geopark is located in Dongying City, Shandong Province, covering an area of 1,530 square kilometers. The main geological relics are river erosion-accumulation landforms. The modern Yellow River Delta is the Yellow River that has eroded since 1855 (the fifth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty) and has flowed into the Bohai Sea in Kenli County. The fan-shaped area is a typical representative of the "flower-shaped" delta, another form of the "river-controlled delta".
