Introduction to the Hou Huang Monument: The Hou Huang Monument was erected to commemorate Hou Tongzeng and Huang Chunyao, two patriots who died during the Qing Dynasty's Three Massacres at Jiading. It is located on the northwest side of the singing platform in Huilongtan Park. It is more than 8 meters high and has a square base. , steel-reinforced cement structure. Construction started in April of the 25th year of the Republic of China and was completed in June. A tomb unveiling ceremony was held on November 6, the anniversary of the liberation of the Revolution of 1911. The inscription on the dark side was written by Huang Yusun (Shizuo), a county resident, and was written by Wu Qining of Jintan. It was engraved in May of the 24th year of the Republic of China. The monument was built with more than 700 yuan donated by teachers and students in Jiading County. Everyone donated, even poor primary school students donated at least one copper dollar.
