Introduction to Minhang Campus: Located on Dongchuan Road in Minhang District, close to the Huangpu River, it is the largest campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Jiang Zemin, an alumnus of Jiao Tong University who was the mayor of Shanghai at the time, attended the opening ceremony of the Minhang campus in 1987. The Minhang campus covers an area of nearly 5,000 acres and has become the main teaching and research base of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
