Introduction to the Pearl Hanging Rat: The Pearl Hanging Rat is widely distributed in rivers and lakes in Africa, and its body length can reach 30 centimeters. There are three pairs of tentacles on both sides of the mouth. The body surface color ranges from light brown to dark gray, with many small black spots on the surface. Unlike ordinary fish, pearl hanging rats sometimes swim with their belly upwards. This swimming posture helps them prey on mosquito larvae on the water. What's even more interesting is that the belly of the pearl hanging rat is darker, which is exactly the opposite of fish that swim with their belly downwards. This also provides them with good camouflage when swimming on the water surface. The pearl hanging rat is an omnivorous fish, feeding mainly on insect larvae and algae.
