Introduction to Yuanchen Hall: Yuanchen Hall is also known as Sixty Jiazi Hall. Yuan means "good", and Yuan Chen means auspicious times. The Yuanchen spirit is the Chinese age spirit and is related to the annual fortune of every Chinese person. In ancient China, the cycle of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches started from Jiazi and ended at Guihai, with sixty as one week, so it was also called Sixty Jiazi. Later Taoism used sixty Jiazi to match the name of the god, thus forming the Taoist Yuanchen belief. Because the sixty-year-old god is the star god, he is also called the Tai Sui god. In the folk, it means that people call the Tai Sui god corresponding to the sixtieth Yuan Chen of a certain year as the yearly Tai Sui of that year, and the Tai Sui god corresponding to the year of his birth as the natal Tai Sui. The ceremony in which believers worship their zodiac Tai Sui and pray for peace and good luck every year is called Shunxing.
