Introduction to the underground substation: The People’s Square underground substation is one of the large-scale substations that attract worldwide attention. It is also the first ultra-high voltage, large-capacity urban underground substation in my country. Located in the southeast corner of People's Square, it is a 5-story reinforced concrete cylinder structure. The bottom depth is 18.6 meters, the inner diameter is 58 meters, and the construction area is 9,400 square meters. The main equipment is installed here. It receives 220 kV grid power and provides power to 110 kV and 35 kV substations in Huangpu, Nanshi, Luwan, Jing'an and other districts.
