Introduction to the New Tian'an Hall: The New Tian'an Hall is located on the Bund south of the Waibaidu Bridge in Shanghai. It was built in 1886 and expanded in 1901. It was designed by Total and imitates the Romanesque architectural style of the Victorian period. The outer wall of the church is made of red bricks. The overall plan of the building is a cross structure. The 33-meter-high octagonal spire in the middle was once the commanding height on the south bank of the Suzhou River.
