Introduction to the Golden Monkey Museum: Golden monkeys belong to the genus Colobus, a primate order. Because they all have a pair of nostrils pointing upward, they are scientifically called snub-nosed monkeys. They mainly eat leaves. The reason why snub-nosed monkeys are called "golden monkeys" is because the earliest snub-nosed monkeys discovered in the world are Sichuan golden monkeys living in Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu in my country. The Golden Monkey House of Shanghai Wildlife Park currently has 32 golden monkeys, 18 males and 14 females. A total of 19 golden monkeys have been bred since 1997.
