Introduction to the Red Panda Museum: The red panda belongs to the genus Red Panda in the order Carnivore, family Raccoonidae. The body is plump and round, resembling a cat but not a cat. It weighs about 5 kilograms and is 40-65 centimeters long. The back of the body is reddish brown, with white spots on the eye sockets and cheeks. Even the area around the mouth and beard are white. The fluffy and long tail has brown and white nine-node rings. There are currently 13 red pandas in the Red Panda House of Shanghai Wildlife Park, 8 females and 5 males. A total of 16 red pandas have been bred since 1996.
