Introduction to Le Tianxuan: The northernmost part of the inner garden of Zuibaichi is Le Tianxuan, which was originally the site of "Guyang Garden" and "Wenlan Hall" built by Zhu Zhichun, a Jinshi scholar in the sixth year of Yuanyou in the Song Dynasty (1091). The title was derived from the worship of Bai Juyi by the ancients. The building was preserved after several restorations over the years. It has a history of more than 900 years and is one of the oldest garden buildings in Shanghai. The walls beside the pavilion are shaded by bamboo trees, green pine forests, rugged rocks, towering ginkgo trees behind the house, and a plank bridge in front of the house with flowing water. It can be described as the charm of a village with small bridges and flowing water.
